People have asked for a little information about me, so I’ve added this page. Here’s some quick info that you might want to know.
I’m a working mother of four (ages eight to fourteen). I have 25 years in the tech industry, mostly working for software or web companies. My main experience is in: technical writing, usability testing, user experience/interaction design, website design (though not the graphical side), program and product management. I’ve also done some customer support and marketing work. In my day-job, I think strategically and really enjoy finding the sweet spot where business strategy and goals can align with customer requirements.
I blog on the side out of a strong interest in social media. I like to do some research and look at the available data, then apply my own experience and intelligence to gain insights and share them with others. I try to be objective, open-minded, and data-driven. While knowing that we all have our biases. I welcome your comments and insights!

And I have a question for you: what about benchmarking one’s social media efforts?
Made the acquaintance of Urs E Gattiker of http://commetrics.com last week via a blog I commented on and he commented on my comment…and the dialogue quickly went offline thanks to Google Talk.
His thinking is innovative where blogs in particular are concerned.
Our dialogues around the technology that continues to evolve practically daily are fascinating. I would say you might want to also be in communication with him through LinkedIn or better still Xing.com
