Facebook Study
This study was an informal survey of 90 Facebook users of varying ages and gender. As noted, this survey is preliminary only and needs to be validated by a larger study of randomly-selected users.
The survey was conducted through the online site surveymonkey.com. The users were solicited in a variety of ways, including through my own Facebook contacts, through LinkedIn groups such as Facebook.com and Tweeple, through personal contacts with a request to forward the survey link to others, through Twitter, and through craigslist ads posted in various large cities across the country.
The survey questions can be viewed here: survey_10468432

Interesting responses and insights. I am glad to see that a lot of people don’t play the games, etc. I thought I was abnormal. Thanks for taking this on and for doing such a great job on presenting the data.
Thanks, Jacqueline. I appreciate it. (I don’t actually do the games much, myself.) I went to your site, and really liked some of the entries. Commented on the Iran one–a phenomenon I personally found very interesting.
